INNOCHAIN PRIVACY POLICY

innochain complies with the applicable Luxembourg law regarding the protection of personal data.

The personal data communicated on the website is collected and processed by innochain, in compliance with the provisions of Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of 27 April 2016 on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data (GDPR) and the Luxembourg law of 1 August 2018 on the organisation of the National Commission for Data Protection and implementation of the general data protection regime, as well as in application of this privacy policy.

innochain only collects personal data that users of the site voluntarily provide, in particular by filling out the forms available on the site.

1- USE OF PERSONAL DATA

Your personal data is used by innochain to send you any documentation (newsletter, etc.) that you may request and, more generally, to keep you informed of innochain's activities. This personal data may also be used to invite you to register for any new event organized by innochain.

  • communicate with you regarding files, missions, partnerships, etc.

  • request, obtain or receive information about innochain or the products and services offered by them; ;
  • subscribe to and receive thematic information (documentation, invitations, activity reports, etc.);

 3- RECIPIENTS OF YOUR PERSONAL DATA

innochain ensures that its partners and subcontractors process your data in accordance with the provisions of this privacy policy.

innochain undertakes never to sell, rent, or entrust to third parties other than partners or suppliers your personal data, except in response to a judicial or administrative procedure of any kind or to comply with legal obligations and protect its rights.

4- CUSTOMER RELATIONSHIP MANAGEMENT (CRM) DATABASES

Innochain uses customer relationship management (CRM) databases to manage and track its marketing efforts. These CRM databases include personal data relating to members or employees of our clients, suppliers, partners, or other stakeholders with whom we have a business relationship or with whom we wish to develop a professional relationship.

innochain takes care to protect and secure your personal data in order to ensure its confidentiality and prevent it from being distorted, damaged, destroyed or disclosed to unauthorized third parties.

innochain puts in place technical and organizational measures to ensure that personal data is kept securely for the period necessary to fulfill the purposes pursued in accordance with applicable law.

Although these measures are taken to protect your personal data, innochain draws your attention to the fact that no transmission or storage technology is totally infallible.

When disclosure of data to third parties is necessary and authorized, innochain ensures that these third parties guarantee the data concerned the same level of protection as that offered by innochain, and requires contractual guarantees so that, in particular, the data is processed exclusively for the purposes that you have previously accepted, with the required confidentiality and security.

In accordance with applicable European regulations, in the event of a proven breach of Personal Data likely to result in a high risk to the rights and freedoms of the persons concerned, innochain undertakes to communicate this breach to the competent supervisory authority and, where required by these regulations, to the persons concerned (individually or generally as appropriate).

Without prejudice to the foregoing, it is your responsibility to exercise caution to prevent any unauthorized access to your personal data and your terminals (computer, smartphone, tablet, etc.).

Furthermore, Innochain's websites may contain links to third-party websites that may be of interest to you. Innochain has no control over the content of these third-party websites or their practices regarding the protection of personal data they may collect. Consequently, Innochain disclaims all liability concerning the processing of your Personal Data by these third parties, which is not subject to this Privacy Policy. 9- TRANSFER OF YOUR PERSONAL DATA ABROAD

Innochain may exceptionally transfer your personal data outside the European Economic Area and in this case undertakes, in accordance with applicable legislation, to take all organizational and technical measures to ensure an adequate level of protection for your data.

10- DURATION OF STORAGE OF PERSONAL DATA

innochain retains your personal data for the necessary time, subject to obligations to retain certain data, and/or to anonymize it.

We apply the following retention periods for these few broad categories of personal data:

  • Personal data of customers, prospects, or business partners: as long as the user is active and, at the latest, 5 years after the last contact with the latter;
  • Personal connection data: 1 year after the last connection;
  • Personal data of candidates (recruitment): time required to process the application and, in the event of a negative outcome, 3 years after the last contact (unless the candidate agrees to a longer period).

In accordance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of 27 April 2016 relating to the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data (GDPR), as well as to the Luxembourg law of August 1, 2018 Regarding the organization of the National Commission for Data Protection and the implementation of the general data protection regime, you have a right of access, of correction, and’erasure data concerning you.
You also have the right to object to the processing of your personal data for legitimate reasons.
